RES Workspace Manager dynamically composes the user workspace based on company security regulations and based on the context of the end-user. RES Workspace Manager takes a standardized virtual desktop and applies all aspects of the user to that desktop when the user accesses it. Such aspects of the user include single and grouped changes in anything from application access, preferences, profile and home directory content, to network printers, registry settings, policies, database connections and e-mail configuration for thousands of virtual desktops.

Together, VMware and RES Software builds a bridge between server virtualization and the effective and reliable deployment and maintenance of your virtualized server environment. RES Automation Manager is optimized for VMware ESX and includes some key technologies to increase manageability and easy adoption of VMware ESX. For instance, RES Automation Manager adds significant value in the provisioning of virtual machines to a VMware ESX system. RES Automation Manager also overcomes the traditional disadvantages associated with using snapshots through its patent-pending Snapshot Intelligence technology.
Support Statement
RES Software will provide technical support for RES Workspace Manager in VMware virtual environments in an identical manner as with RES Workspace Manager in other supported x86-based systems without requiring reproduction of issues on native hardware.
